Our
Story
I'm a farmer born and raised on the farm where I work.
In 1971, I was looking for an easier and faster way to make hay. We needed bedding and feed for pigs and cattle. A friend from Cummings, Iowa, invited me to come see his Vermeer Baler at work. I was a little late when I got there as he was done bailing.
The next year we bought a Vermeer Baler that was guaranteed to bale hay and corn stalks.
It paid for itself the first year.
The field man Henry Monster asked us about becoming a dealer. I said no, My wife said yes. She said we had two sons and this would help keep them busy.
Forty-three years later we have met a lot of nice people and have wonderful customers.
Now, my grandson, Bruce Miskell and his friend, Josh, take care of the shop and help with customers while son-in-law Greg does the bookkeeping.
